Master Classes and other Classes in Summer 2013 in co-operation with Savonlinna Opera Festival and Savonlinna Summer University
Opera Master Class I
24.6.-2.7.2013, Professor Tom Krause (Escuela Superior de Musica Reina Sofia, Madrid, Spain). Pianist Matthias Veit (Hamburg, Germany). Each singer will get five lessons during the Master Class.

Opera Master Class II
28.6.-4.7.2013, Tenor Jorma Silvasti (Finland). Pianist Ilkka Paananen (Finland). Each singer will get six lessons during the Master Class.

German Lied Master Class
28.7.-3.8.2013, Professor Hartmut Höll (Karlsruhe Musikhochschule, Germany). Students are chosen primarily as singer&pianist -duos. Each duo will get lessons in every day.

Contrabass Master Class
8.-15.7.2013, Jiri Parviainen (Sibelius Academy, Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra, Finland). Pianist Timo Koskinen (Finland).

Course fee: 250 € (lessons, including also the Chamber Music Master Class).
Chamber Music, Violin, Viola and Cello Master Classes
16.-26.7.2013, Orpheus String Quartet: Mark Gothoni, violin (Universität der Künste Berlin); Timothy Summers, violin; Emile Cantor, viola (Folkwang Universität der Künste Essen) and Laurentiu Sbarcea, cello (Hochschule für Musik Köln). Pianist Salla Karakorpi (Finland) and pianist Robert Roozeman (Finland). The final concerts will be recorded by the Music Technology Master Class.

Course fee: 100-250 € (lessons). Only Chamber Music: The members of existing ensemble 100 €, others 150 €. Violin, Viola & Cello Master Classes: 250 € (including Chamber Music).

Italian and German Opera and Lied Class
